What is it that motivates you? Where does your inspiration come from? There are lots of external triggers such as animals, colors, objects, people, words, nature, signs and more. We often need those things to activate what lies beneath the surface. It’s not actually those triggers that create your inner motivation. Those triggers whisper to your soul, giving rise to the inner inspiration that already exists within you.
It occurred to me when I was ‘thinking’ about what to write this week that the inspiration for my blogs doesn’t come from my brain or thoughts. The topics I write about come from deep within my soul and are usually triggered by something I see, hear, touch or feel in the world.
Inspiration doesn’t originate from somewhere out in the world, it lives in the depths of your being and reveals itself when something or someone triggers it. What inspires and motivates you is as unique to you as your fingerprints. Each person is motivated by their perception of the things going on around them which leads to an inspired idea, thought or feeling within.
So, be open to the messages the universe sends your way, remain connected to your heart song, listen to the whispers that only your soul hears – these things will give rise to the inspiration you desire. Motivation lives within you, give yourself the freedom to connect to the things and people around you that trigger your soul’s inspiration.
