Part I
It happens the moment you begin relying more on your insight and less on your eyesight! A world seen only from the perspective of looking out remains limited to the external, material experience of the physical world. On the other hand, life experienced from the perspective of viewing the world from within, from the inside out, expands ones vision from limited to unlimited, from worldly to universal, from human doing to human being, from singular to collective, from external to internal, from costly to immaterial, from expensive to expansive, from unsupported to supported, from conditional to unconditional, from visionless to visionary, from fear to faith, from unclear to clear, from surviving to thriving, from involution to evolution…you get the point.
Ironically, it is that simple and yet that seemingly out-of-reach. Why? Because, we have a lifetime learning and living from the perspective of looking out at the world for answers that can only come from within. We have been taught to rely on our external experiences, our physical senses and acquired skills rather than on our intuition, inner capacities and inherent gifts (creativity, wisdom, intuition and universal knowledge). So, things out in the world don’t actually have to get better, or change at all for that matter, in order for you to feel better. The only effort required is to remove your dark sunglasses and begin using what is every human being’s birthright – inner vision. Begin to experience your life from the inside out instead of the outside in, rely on your insight instead of your eyesight for meaningful experiences, choices and decisions – from large to small - and embrace the all-knowing, powerful human-spiritual being that you are.
I can hear the chorus of individuals asking, “How do I do that?” Well, fortunately for all of us, there are many ways to get there and the good news is you will not have to give up life as you know it, hike to the top of a mountain naked, shave your head or abandon all of your worldly goods!
